Working together to address the refugee crisis
October 31, 2015 - Progressive political forces from across Europe were in Beirut to address the impact of the refugee crisis with local partners where means of improving the situation were discussed through debates, roundtables and during a dinner reception at the Bristol Hotel. The conference, managed by Soapbox Communications and organized by the Party of European Socialists in partnership with the Global Progressive Forum, the S&D group in the European Parliament, the Progressive Socialist Party and the Arab Social Democratic Forum, also included prominent local and regional speakers that discussed the possibility of building a common approach for an EU-MENA road map regarding the refugee crisis. #soapboxevents #soapboxcommunications #getonyoursoapbox
